Management Team

Zach Bradford is CleanSpark’s CEO and president. He served as the company’s CFO from 2014 to 2019. In 2013, he founded an accounting firm in Nevada, where he was active until 2019, now retaining ownership as a non-active partner. Zach’s financial leadership spans public and private firms, including a regional retail chain. He is an accomplished leader in public company reporting and accounting, Bitcoin infrastructure economics including the ASIC and energy markets, and mergers and acquisitions. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from Southern Utah University. Zach enjoys building teams, strategic thinking, and mountain biking.

S. Matthew Schultz is the executive chairman of CleanSpark, bringing over two decades of business and market development expertise to the company. Prior to his current role, Matt served as CleanSpark’s chief executive officer from 2014 to 2019. He has helped numerous startups secure financing and expedite growth since 1999, including during his role as president of Wexford Capital Ventures, Inc. While serving as the chairman of Pali Financial Group, Inc., he led market development for dozens of public corporations. Matt is a founding member and former vice president of the Utah Consumer Lending Association. 

S. Matthew Schultz
Executive Chairman

Gary A. Vecchiarelli brings more than two decades of experience in finance and accounting to CleanSpark as its chief financial officer. He has guided the company through numerous acquisitions and executed strategic debt financing, resulting in low debt. Throughout his career, Gary held senior positions with multiple publicly traded, high-growth companies ranging in size from $50 million to over $1 billion. Gary opened BDO’s Las Vegas audit practice before leading finance operations for Golden Entertainment and Galaxy Gaming. He was most recently the chief financial officer for Imatrex, a high-tech medical imaging solutions company. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis in accounting from San Jose State University.

CFO

Isaac Holyoak is CleanSpark’s chief communications officer. Prior to joining CleanSpark, Isaac worked in academic medicine where he served in various communications and culture roles at the University of Utah. His career in public relations and policy began at a non-profit think tank in Salt Lake City where he worked on good government and civic engagement initiatives, after several academic engagements at Texas A&M and Purdue University. Isaac earned a BS in public relations from Southern Utah University and an MA in speech communication and rhetoric from Purdue University. He is an avid gardener and plantsman, currently growing a collection of desert-adapted plants in his Mojave Desert garden

Scott Garrison is SVP of growth for CleanSpark. He brings over 30 years of experience developing and implementing business plans for technology, software, hospitality, gaming, and media sectors. He founded Linq360 and The Integration Center, companies that deliver technology solutions to businesses around the world. During that time, he partnered and consulted with renowned companies including HP, Verizon, Microsoft, and Samsung. In the beginning of his career, Scott achieved Class A status with the PGA of America and opened multiple golf courses throughout the U.S. before being recruited by IZOD’s golf division. He enjoys playing golf, boating, and spending time with his wife and two adult children. 

Scott Garrison
SVP, Growth

Taylor Monnig currently serves as the SVP of mining for CleanSpark. He focuses on the operations of the company’s data centers along with developing the technology that goes into them. Taylor founded TMGCore, where he previously served as chief operating officer. In that role, he worked to develop and commercialize single phase and two-phase cooling technologies for HPC and Bitcoin mining. Taylor brings to CleanSpark eight years of experience in the Bitcoin mining industry and has developed a reputation for his deep expertise in immersion-cooled Bitcoin mining. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Arizona State University.

Joni McMillan serves as the VP of organizational development at CleanSpark, playing a pivotal role in the company’s growth initiatives by managing corporate IT frameworks and driving streamlined operations. Her diverse background has been invaluable to CleanSpark’s vision as she merges technology, finance and organizational dynamics to create effective touch points across the organization. Before joining CleanSpark, Joni was a trusted figure in multiple renowned companies, leveraging her skills in process improvement and IT to drive innovation and efficiency. She has a deep-rooted interest in personality theory and psychology, offering insights into how understanding human behavior can be leveraged to foster a positive and productive work environment. Joni holds dual bachelor’s degrees in finance and management information systems from the University of Las Vegas, Nevada.

VP, Organizational Development

Bradley Audiss serves as CleanSpark’s VP of operations, ensuring the company functions at maximum efficiency to support growth. He implements strategies, structures and processes to proactively identify and resolve issues pertaining to the Bitcoin mining sites he manages. Brad’s role is all-encompassing as he oversees staffing, hardware, budgets and operational performance. He has an extensive background in supply chain management and logistical planning. Prior to joining CleanSpark, Brad worked in various positions at Molekule, an award-winning air hygiene technology company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in operations management from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Natasha Betancourt is the chief of staff at CleanSpark, where she focuses on executive productivity, seamless coordination, and cross-departmental efficiency. She is passionate about fostering team connectivity and enhancing collaboration across the organization. As the former vice president of design and engineering firm p2klabs, Natasha brings a multidisciplinary background of project and relationship management to CleanSpark. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
