The Chamber of Digital Commerce, a leading trade association advocating for the blockchain and digital asset industries, recently held a “Crypto in the Capitol” expo at the Hart Senate Office Building in Washington, DC. CleanSpark is a member of the chamber and was invited to participate to discuss the benefits of sustainable bitcoin mining. It was an honor to meet with several staffers from Republican and Democratic Senators as well as House committees. We were the only bitcoin miner in attendance and even brought along an original CleanSpark mining machine. CleanSpark looks forward to more potential conversations with decisionmakers in hopes of establishing clearer guidance for and changing stigma surrounding the bitcoin mining industry.
